Was going to perform a second gig there, but....

My gig was canceled as I entered the venue. 2/4 bands on the bill canceled the day of, so the club closed for the night.

Not even a phone call or e-mail to let me know prior.

One of the worst venues in the city, maybe the world. Some of the worst promoters and most exploitative business practices I've ever seen. Rude staff, definitely a place that is far more interested in squeezing a quick buck out of high school and college kids than it is fostering a healthy music scene. I turn down gigs here regularly, and I recommend that you do the same, unless you're looking for a headache. My, how far they've come from the days of the Lion's Den...
