I played here as part of someone else's band as part of their late Friday night Groove series. In terms of the staff and equipment at the Blue Note, I would be hard pressed to find a more professionally run venue.
The sound man really knew his stuff, adjusting mics on stage while setting levels and EQ remotely on an iPad. Not only did he have a great ear, but he took time out to ask each of us how we felt about the sound. The wait staff and everyone else were also great. Probably the best venue I have ever played at.
