Reviews from musicians

Nice little place, we played upstairs (a bear hauling all equipment up an winding staircase). Weren't a whole lot of regulars there, big crowd of older guys watching a game who left as soon as the game ended and we were about to come on). We brought probably 20 of our own followers, got paid meagerly, and I was told by other musicians that if don't fill the house totally, you don't get invited back. Staff was very kind to us, but pretty non-committal on any opinions as to what they thought of our sound. Still not a bad place to play (if you can get booked - not easy to do).

I haven't actually played here, so ignore star rating. However, I did discuss playing there with their booking agent, and was told that, in general, it wouldn't really be worth it to B. Gap to staff the upstairs (they call it the "Attic"), unless I could draw 50 or so of my own people. Now if I could draw 50 people, I wouldn't be playing the B. Gap. Might be a decent space for a private party, though.
