We are college students and have played at Rasputin's a couple of times and we recently drove there for a gig from various locations in Northern Massachusetts. When we arrived, the owner said that we were not scheduled to be there and never heard of us. We told him we were scheduled and we had all met him before. The owner's response was that since we were all there we should buy some drinks. Well, he needed the business because there was nobody in the place which is probably why he cancelled. A phone call would have been nice since a 5 hr round trip cost us money and time that we don't have. We will never play there again.
