TERRIBLE! AVOID!!

1) Load in is 7 PM. But there is no sound person till 9 PM. And you can't set upon the stage till then, because the stage is also set up as a dining area with tables and chairs. Basically this is a ploy to force you buy their food and beer, because this place is far from anything and there is no hospitality (save for 1 drink ticket).

2) Door person (on our night) showed up ONE HOUR AFTER the show had started. She then proceeded to kick half the room out, alienate the other half and let in about ten people for free while she was walking around the room collecting money (and disrupting the SECOND band's set, as the first band had already played). She was out right hostile to everyone.

3) ZERO GUEST LIST. No exceptions. Not once was this stated in negotiating the show. As this is a very unusual policy, one would thing that they would state it up front.

4) The staff is rude to everyone.

5) Band members are not welcome to hang out in the main room unless they are buying dinner. The green room is an empty storage room with NO SEATING.

This place has long had a reputation of suckage. I knew that going in, and so I guess I can only put the blame on myself for helping perpetuate the Connecticut Yankee's misplaced belief that they are a legitimate music venue.
