Probably the worst performance venue in Seattle. With few exceptions, most of the bands that play here are aggressively mediocre amateurs, and are often willing to play for little or no compensation, which effectively "locks out" experienced working musicians. Essentially, this venue is allowing musicians to become one another's worst enemies.

I would add that I disagree with Lespaulplayer's remark regarding the Tuesday night open mic; it is also amateurish, poorly administrated, and attracts the same crowd of musical troglodytes every week.

Bar didn't pay the band a dime. Played for door. Had to pay inexperienced (bad) sound person $50. Bartender was grumpy because there was music instead of old barflies on stools at bar. Owner was unappreciable of good band that drew a crowd. Usually has young gullible questionably talented noisy three chord bands who are happy to get to play somewhere other than basement. Amateur hour! Dump of a bar, bad gig. OK open stage on Tuesday but that's about only semi-cool thing about this place.
