Sound and stage are great. Staff and talent buyers are generally apathetic towards bands unless they're well known and guarantee a packed house, which I suppose is understandable if you view bands as nothing more than free promotion for your bar, posing as a music venue. I've had multiple problems with the High Dive not communicating properly with the door man on start times, and shorting all three/four bands significantly on pretty packed nights. The room is worth playing, but there are other options in Seattle that treat talent a lot better.
