2 stars and that's for the rooms look and feel. Payout is usually poor. I really want to back this venue but they haven't had their s**t together since it opened. However, the area is just plain tough though so I'll go a bit easy on them.

This is by far the best venue to play in town. The sound guys are incredibly helpful and actually care about what they're doing. The spacious green room, well stocked fridge, organized load-in times and the actual venue itself make you feel like a welcomed rock star. For an extra fee they can record your live show as well and hand you a well-mixed CD of it along with your door money when you're leaving. The only downside is this venue is a bit 'out there' for non-drivers in this town and not many people realize they can take the light rail there & back. It can be a tough sell too with an average $10.00 cover charge - but your guests will get what they pay for so I strongly recommend intense promotion of your show & a comfortable draw. The acoustics can ricochet a bit off their brick walls so low-end sounds need attention. Smoothest soundcheck ever too. If you don't have a big draw, you can still book the adjacent bourbon room which doesn't have the best sound but it's still run by the same great helpful people. I made nothing personally due to it being a last minute booking & a bill of small-draw bands, however... it was a great night still.
