Reviews from musicians

Since they've re-done the inside of the venue, it's not easy loading equipment in and out of, the sound is perfunctory and the venue keeps the first 125.00 at the door and will not promote you. Add to that, the expensive bar menu and the fact that hardly anything else is open downtown in the Market... it's a tough venue to sell. The staff is great, the management is nice but rather scarce and the atmosphere is charming but a bit claustrophobic now with bad sight lines on a faux-proscenium stage with a small dressing room. It suits the resident shows but it's not that great for musicians anymore.
