This is an upscale-type cocktail lounge and restaurant. They are currently closed Mon & Sun. Have decent Karaoke on Tues.
I only go on Thursday evenings for the jam session. They try to accommodate everyone regardless of style or amplification, according to the sign-up sheet, occasionally give extra time to featured guests. House band opens. Resident professional sound guy. Great bar staff.
Full bar, one drink minimum (I get Coke or coffee). Good food, not cheap but some very low-priced items, including $5 salad, home-cut fries, etc.
No cover charge on Thurs.
Various bands on other nights, some low cover charge such as $5 or $10, some up to $25 depending on the band.
I've been treated well here, and the sound guy and stage crew/host really go out of their way to set up for me, whatever I ask for. My poor old ears often need foam earplugs, most people do not.
Tobacco smoking area attached to pool table area, basically outdoors but well-protected. Not pot smoking inside or in smoking area.
Resident security people, know their business. Four to six security cameras on off-street parking (including back parking lot). Parking well-lit. You can stop and see your car on their CCTV display at the front entry booth.
Don't sag your pants. Prepare to be wanded (if they decide to).
Would rate higher if they had more blues/rock/classic rock sessions, bands, guests, jam sessions. Sometimes Thurs is rather full, sometimes only the specific fans.
NO STRIP, NO "DANCERS".
