This venue is fun as hell to play at. Because the scene on the peninsula is smaller, the team of sound/promotion folk that run shows at The Manette are TOP SHELF! They do Friday and Saturday nights mainly, and know how to draw in a local crowd, regardless of your following. The sound guy, attentive, knowledgeable and professional. The light guy actually listens to your music and makes the stage show really fun. The door gal, one of the nicest people I've met playing clubs. The talent buyer/promotion guy, knows his shizzle, for real. My band, which has a decent following in Seattle, but little in Bremerton, played it's debut show there and it was a LOT of fun. The Manette is our go to for the south end/peninsula crowd.
