For a venue with such a detailed booking policy on their website, I expected more professional conduct. They did a poor job of keeping in touch (bad sign) but we did manage to confirm the gig by email and phone, not to mention the posters we sent. Unfortunately, they still decided to cancel the performance with no explanation and less than a week's notice. I've made my living as a musician for a long time, and rarely been treated with so little respect.
