This place sucks. The staff are nice and the room is fine. However, there is no parking, no crowd and nobody likes coming down there because of the car break-ins, homeless/vagrant population, etc...

And they nickle and dime you to death on the door. Zero promotion from them no matter how soon you get the materials in. It's a shame really, this is one of those spots that "could" be great; but never will.

The space was nice and its cool that they are an all ages venue and still serve beer. The sound is decent and the staff were all very nice. I've played there once to a small crowd as they did very little promotion other than Facebook. The load in sucks, unless you pay to park in one of the big lots. If you can even find street parking you'll have to walk your gear at least half a block. Even though we showed up for a sound check we didn't get one. They booked 4 bands that night, none of them shared back line, there was no stage manager to help facilitate, and the bands before us took so long setting up at breaking down our set got cut to about 20 minutes, because there was still a band after us and they had to be done at 12. The bands split 80% of the what was left of the door after their expenses. Basically, it was a big waste of my time, and I have no intention of playing there again.

Huge, beautiful venue, interesting artwork.
No promotion whatsoever.
Usually empty.
Both shows I was scheduled to play there (booked by bandleader) were cancelled due to low turnout.

Good luck!
