Update -- played here again and WOW, the sound was horrifically bad. The speakers on the PA were blown out, the horns not mic'ed, and we couldn't hear anything. Still a nice crowd, but it was an exceedingly bad night.

Enjoyed very much playing at this venue... a large and appreciative crowd, great dancers, a real community. Large bar area and dancing upstairs above the Cuban restaurant (same venue). Decent sound, good pay, although as a side-person I'm not sure how much we were paid.
The main negative about playing here was the commute back to NYC -- which certainly isn't their fault!
