I've played this venue a couple of times. I have rather nice memories each time, at least of the venue itself. When you enter, you'll see the wraparound bar, and that most of the seating is for the pizzeria restaurant. The food's quite good, I should add. And the stage is off to the right, but not bad.
Out of view of the audience, but very visible from stage left, is the sound room. The engineers have been quite knowledgeable, and that's helpful, especially for someone like myself who doubled on string bass & bass guitar. Both sounds were well balanced.
My only gripe is that you have to essentially setup your gear outside on the curb until it's time to load, and wait for the previous act to completely remove their gear before loading through the same side door. It does me no good to setup a bass outside on a stand, only to pull it inside and have the temp change ruin any chance of intonation for my set.
Also, I understand most openings acts have to sell tickets to play, and that annoys me greatly.
