I got myself in one of the top bands in the NW. Finally got us a gig at the Yuppie (after about a year of bugging them) and it went great. I brought in a table full of people and they stayed all night. The bartender gave me the thumbs up sign. So what's not to like? I went back a few days later and wound up getting yelled at because I had the "nerve" to ask for another gig! It was downright traumatic. Keep in mind that I book lots of gigs, and deal with lots of different club-managers, and this was the WORST I've ever been treated.
