Love everything about the Star, which I would give this venue five of if not for the load-in arrangement, which is: There isn't one. It's Band vs Downtown. No venue parking, no loading zone. The green room is small, but I hear that's being addressed. Sound/lights are killer, stage is deep, sound guy Neil is awesome, and so easy to work with that I had to double check that he was, in fact, an audio engineer.

Played Star Theater in June 2012, the venue was rad!! They had a professional lighting rig with with haze coming through the vents. Cool green room below the stage. The event was thrown by a political campaign org who also ran the door.
