This is a very odd place. Not really sure what to make of it. Half of the people seem offended by the music and the other half don't seem to care. Staff is pretty cool. And getting a gig there means cozy-ing up to Josh Malm or J. Malem, or Josh Malem Tree or Redwood Son or whatever name he's currently going by. Cross your fingers when he writes you a check, they have bounced before.

Pay is okay if you have a small band. The bar space is a fraction of the vast facility.
Weeknight happy hour sets.
Stable of performers is alleged to be largely, if not exclusively, associated with booker Josh Malem and his circle of friends.
