This place booked my jazz quartet based upon my email inquiry, which included links to my website and audio samples of our music.

Upon arrival, we set up our instruments, which included a full drum set. It was not set up in secret, and it was right in front of their faces. After playing for 30 seconds to a completely empty cafe, an employee came from behind his counter to tell us that they have a "no drums" policy.

We assured them we would play quietly for the remainder of the gig. However, while we were playing (in the middle of songs), employees would walk up and tell us that they needed us to move the drum set so they could get into a storage closet.

No built in crowd, no money, and poor organization.
